termitepest.com.au is the union of two businesses, focused on quality and service.

We are a family owned and orientated business. And we appreciate that your family is important. We believe that every customer is important.

No question or request is too small or silly.

  • In 1998 Sunshine Coast Termite and Pest Management began to service the residents and builders of the coast. Over the years we have serviced some of the coasts quality builders.
  • In 2004 Austerm Pest Management was developed, as need for “tailor made” termite protection was noticed. this was particularly true of  renovators (professional and owners alike)
  • In 2005, after working for Sunshine Coast Termite and Pest Management for 2 years, Richard brought the business.
  • January 2008 saw the union of Sunshine Coast Termite and Pest Management and Austerm Pest Management. Since 2008 the two businesses have been sharing staff and resources. A central office in Caloundra allows us to service the Brisbane and Sunshine Coast Area.

Our job is to share the responsibility of termite management with homeowners. We provide the expert advice and service while educating homeowners about what to do in the months between our visits.

We are old fashioned. We value honesty, integrity, quality of service and products and professionalism. These are the things you should expect when dealing with us.

Signs of subterranean termite presence:

  • Mud trails on or around the piers and footings of a structure.
  • Accumulation of dried mud in the joins of door and window architraves.
  • Blistering paint on door and window architraves and skirting boards.
  • Damp areas or moisture stains on walls.
  • Faint tapping or chewing noises behind plaster walls.
  • Mud structures in ceiling cavities.

Do not disturb

If you find termites do NOT disturb them:

  1. Try to put things back as they were. If disturbed they will regroup and probably choose to attack another section of the structure. This makes it very difficult to effectively treat the termites.
  2. Promptly contact your local termite specialist for an inspection of the property and advice on the protective measures available.

Please contact www.termitepest.com.au if you have any questions regarding termite activity or treatment procedures.
